Frequently Asked Questions
How do I reset all data?
In the app: Settings → Data → Reset All Data. This clears your workout history, PRs, and onboarding.
How do I change programs?
Go to Settings → Current Program. Choose between a simple A/B rotation or a minimalist 4‑day rotation. You can adjust anytime.
Why did my weight go down (deload)?
If target reps aren’t met on a lift, the app deloads about 10% for that lift on the next session to keep progress sustainable.
How do I report a bug or request a feature?
Open an issue: https://github.com/armper/gym-app/issues. Include your device model, iOS version, app version, and steps to reproduce.
Troubleshooting
- Missing charts or data? Ensure you’ve completed at least one workout. Charts populate as you log sessions.
- App feels stuck on onboarding? Enter a 1RM value for each lift, then tap Start Training.
- Progression seems off? Verify your 1RMs and current working weights in Settings.
